About FYSH

The direct way to
buy and sell property

FYSH is a private residential property marketplace for the United Kingdom. No estate agency. No subscriptions. No commission. Just direct connections between vendors and buyers.

What is FYSH?

FYSH is a web-based platform built exclusively for the advertisement of private residential property in the United Kingdom, and for the facilitation of direct communication between vendors and buyers.

FYSH is not an estate agency and does not provide agency services. Vendors retain full ownership of their listings, communications, and sale process. FYSH provides only the platform on which those interactions take place.

Account & Access

FYSH is free to join, free to advertise on, and free to search.

  • Visitors may search and view property details without an account
  • Create a buyer account to save properties, setup multiple listing notifications, submit expressions of interest and utilise the mutual negotiation app to bid and counter bid offers

How FYSH Works

From the moment a vendor publishes a listing to the moment two parties are in direct conversation — every step, in sequence.

Vendor Buyer Platform
  1. Vendor

    Vendor publishes a listing

The vendor creates a property listing — photos, price, description, location — and publishes it live for buyers to discover.

  2. Buyer

    Buyer discovers the property

A prospective buyer searches the platform, browses active listings, saves favourites, and views the full property detail page.

  3. Buyer

Buyer submits an expression of interest

The buyer submits a formal expression of interest through FYSH, signalling genuine intent and sharing their profile with the vendor.

  4. Platform

    FYSH notifies the vendor

The platform immediately notifies the vendor that a new expression of interest is waiting in their workbench.

  5. Vendor

Vendor opens the expression of interest

Using a message credit, the vendor unlocks the expression of interest — revealing the buyer's details and message in full.

  6. Vendor

    Vendor sends a direct response

The vendor replies, opening a private message thread between both parties — no estate agent, no commission, no middleman.

  7. Vendor & Buyer

    The conversation continues — privately

Both parties exchange messages, arrange viewings, and progress toward an offer — entirely within FYSH, in their own time.

  8. Platform

Each new enquiry follows the same path

The sequence repeats for every subsequent expression of interest. Vendors manage all buyer conversations from a single workbench.

Simple, Transparent Pricing

FYSH is free for buyers. Vendors pay only for the message credits they use — no subscriptions, no commissions, no surprises.

Your Data, Protected

Protecting the personal information and communications of every FYSH user is a foundational commitment of the platform. Multiple, independent layers of security at every level of the system.

Encryption in transit

All connections are protected by HTTPS using current TLS, preventing interception as data travels across the network.

Encryption at rest

All sensitive personal data — names, contact details, addresses, message content — is encrypted on our servers using modern, audited cryptographic algorithms.

Per-record encryption keys

Each sensitive record is encrypted with its own unique key, wrapped under a master key held separately from the data. This limits the impact of any single compromise.

Strict access controls

Access to platform systems is limited to authorised personnel, protected by strong authentication, and logged for audit purposes.

Secure passwords

Passwords are never stored in readable form. One-way hashing means even FYSH cannot view your password.

Location privacy

A property's exact address is never published. Only an approximate location is shown publicly; the full address is shared privately only after the vendor chooses to engage.

Minimised data collection

FYSH collects only what is necessary to provide the service. We do not sell personal data, and do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Ongoing review

Our security posture is reviewed regularly and our systems are kept up to date with current best practice.

For full details on what data we collect, how we use it, how long we retain it, and your rights under UK GDPR, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
